About this model
I haven't printed this one yet but wanted to challenge myself with a cartoon prop. I used a variety of cartoon images (from the 80s) to generate this 3D model. I use a broken sword to make the dimensions more reasonable. I anticipate continuing to work on this and including a full blade in the future. Version 1: the sword broken into 4 components Version 2: lets you print the guard and blade in halves. no change to the grip. Version 3: (1 December, 2018) More optimum hilt division makes it shorter and easier to print. More fillets for the guard add a classier look to it. The blade bisected along a new axis. Choose your preference from the 3 blade options. The guard should be perfectly symmetrical and thus the front could be printed twice. Alas... I doubt myself sometimes about my modeling …
