About this model
Just a quick forward: I used a piece of bowden tubing to go from the small guide hole to the extruder as it is such a sharp bend. This allows it to work, but without it it may not work so well. (Being that this design may not work the best, I have designed a new version that requires use of an old harddrive bearing/spindle. It may work better for some! My class got an Anycubic i3 Mega and I wanted a spool holder that would integrate into the Anycubic i3 Mega instead of having the external acrylic holder. So, I came up with this idea and utilized I-Beam structure for the support of the arm. It should allow spools up to 100mm wide and 250mm in diameter.
