About this model

Boost MePlease consider boosting models you find particularly useful, as it supports me to find more time to design and share in the future! Fully printed system to make plaster moulds. This produces a 4-part mould (3 sides and a small insert for the base) to cast small whisky glasses with a raised foot. The slipcast piece will be approx 9cm tall including the foot, so should fire to around 8cm tall. You need to cast plaster in the larger mould three times for the sides, for every one cast of the small insert. This gives a complete plaster mould.With any fully 3D printed mould, you’ll benefit from using a release agent on the base plate surface. I use a generic mouldmaker’s soap, but any product designed for plaster release should be fine.It needs around 375ml of plaster for the side piece…
