About this model
Based on the Degrees of Freedom ring box. Check out the original design at This is a fidget toy that opens up in a fun way. Print 3 of each piece and then use 6x M3x10mm button heads to assemble. No need to print with supports. The counterbore holes have 0.2mm skin to help with bridging. Just use a screw from the reverse side to break that layer. Use 5mmx2mm magnets. Install once the box is assembled to get the correct orientation. I've included a .STEP and Solidworks Assembly for those who want to modify or play with it digitally. Files have been optimized for 0.2mm layer height. 5mmx2mm Magnets: M3x10mm Button Head: (Make sure they are normal and NOT flanged.)
