4/23/2021: Video tip for the xwing mode switch - a spring ensures the wings close. 4/20/2021: How to assemble the xwing mode switch and wings. 4/16/2021: Finally, I've added an X-Wing mode switch that mimics the functionality of R2-D2 on the Kenner toy of yesteryear. Simply, slide the detail section behind R2-D2 forward and back. This change replaces all previous STL files. Take a look! Inspired by these works: I went for a version with working wings and a bit more of the subtle details. The model is kind of small and has walls as thin as 1mm especially on the engine intakes, so if you have a larger print head you want to scale up the STL when slicing.
