The Chisel / Plane Honing / Sharpening Jig with MR106 bearings is a free printable 3D model from Thingiverse by gadgetmind. The original is a nice design but the roller core didn't have bearings, or even holes all the way through! I hacked the original part in OpenSCAD to take MR106 bearings, that are. You can download the STL file from the original listing below and print it at home.
About this model
The original is a nice design but the roller core didn't have bearings, or even holes all the way through! I hacked the original part in OpenSCAD to take MR106 bearings, that are an easy push fit. The bracket could also do with its bolt holes rotating so they aren't flat on top so that it prints better, but I haven't done that yet. Print two of these roller cores and then all the other parts from the original. You then assemble with two M6x70 bolts and nylocs for the two pivots, and M5x20 with nuts and washers for the clamp.
