About this model
This is my entry for the Nintendo Switch Design Challenge at MyMiniFactory ( I modelled this stand after the guardian from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I loved the design of the guardian ever since I saw the first trailer for BotW, and I knew I had to have some sort of figure of it. This stand is certainly not meant for portability, rather, it is something you can keep at home or in the office to look cool and be useful at the same time. It definitely works with other tablets and larger smartphones. I also wanted a more substantial figure of the Guardian, and while the amiibo is cool, the stock is limited and isn't exactly large enough to use as a dock.
