About this model

The Shard is an 87-storey high skyscraper of contemporary architecture that features in the London skyline. It is the UK's second-tallest free-standing structure standing at 224.3 metres tall. The building is impressive in its unfamiliar form which pierces into the sky. Its construction began in 2009 and was inaugurated on the 5th July 2012. This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
