My riding mower tubeless tire was leaking from a puncture in the side wall. I made these screw in plugs to work with tire repair glue (vulcanizing cement) and repair tires without needing to remove the rim. Be sure to use some sort of sealant that is compatible with tires. I have been using the repair on my riding mower for two months now and it is holding up well. I have not refilled the air in the tire in the photo in all that time. My mower holds 15 psi in the rear. I made several sizes for different puncture sizes. There are two styles, ones with flat wide heads and ones without. Both work but I find the ones without the flat heads to work better when going into the tire tread.
