About this model
IKEA discontinued the Algot Drawer system some time ago, so their spare parts service no longer has spares. The various modern equivalents are not compatible with the old system. So, rather than buy new drawers and runners after ours started breaking after 15 years of use, I knocked up a quick replacement.This is technically working, but it's not pretty; it does the job, and I may look to improve it later. I have 3 sets at the moment printed in various filament types:PLA+ - This was the final prototype, prints well, looks good, draws slides well. I don't expect this to last long before it breaks.PC - The original runner by IKEA is PolyCarbonate, so I tried the same material. Prints with a little warping (even with the X2D heated chamber); worst-looking of the materials. It works functional…
