Hidden deep within his island cavern, the hulking Cyclops guards his flock—and devours any unfortunate traveler who crosses his path. When Odysseus and his crew invade his domain, Polyphemus tears a massive boulder from the earth and charges into battle. His enormous, unblinking eye locks onto his prey as he swings with enough force to crush warriors, shatter shields, and shake the very foundations of the island.
