About this model
These are 4 modified versions of the tracks from RC Tank, published by Staind. They are intended to increase grip while still being easy to print. During testing, I preferred combining the tracks with nails; therefore some files are with 3mm holes for 3M screws and 2mm holes for 2x20mm nails. Nevertheless, drilling is mandatory. When using nails the outside holes should be drilled out slightly larger such that the tracks could move freely. Short description of the files: - track V1 mod1 – consists of 2 parts, part (a) is the track base with a groove and part (b) is a pad that fits into the groove. The pad can be pressed and glued in. - track V1 mod2 – basically the same as mod1, but with 2 shorter pads instead of a long one. This prevents the track form flexing and digging into the ground.…
