About this model
To celebrate my fiance's 30th birthday (the biggest Harry Potter fan I know) I decided to make this replica of the Hogwarts Express sign first seen in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. After looking at countless pictures online and some other fan-made creations I settled on this design. The biggest worry I had making the sign was painting on the lettering without making it look like a 5-year-old did it. I soon realized I could print the lettering instead :) This tutorial goes through the steps I took to create the sign. The STL files are the letters and 9 3/4 symbol, ready to print based on the size of my sign.
