About this model
The Helmet for a Doom (2016) Praetor Suit. Scaled for a 60cm Hat sice but a bit more should not be a Problem. Im uploading a full model and the Parts I used to print mine (bed sice 200x200x250) The Parts 3, 4, 5, 6 are one side of the helmet so you will have to mirror them for the other side. Had some errors left but sliced just fine. I used ABS which was then weldet together and smoothed using Acetone. Finer details were then carved in. The visor file is used to shape a piece of acrylic glas (2mm) Just clamp the form in a vice and heat the acrylic in an oven. When the glas becomes soft take it out and press it on the form. Unfortunately it is to round to use mirror foil so the photo with the reflecting visor uses a simplyfied version which has some gaps. If sombody knows a way to mirror c…
