About this model
Version 3 is released, please check by kids are big fans of the collapsible swords. I have made tens of models for them. Since the blades are easy to drop and relatively weak, and in addition, the original model is a glued up model, It is easily got broken and each time I have make a whole new one for them, much of waste. So I decided to make my own one to address the issues, by introducing a rubber ring tensioned blade lock and disassemble structure for exchanging the blades. Also, considering the rubber ring might break in the future, I added an anchor structure that make the rubber ring could be exchanged from outside. To drag the rubber ring easily, a puller tool is also included into the 3mf file. The assembly guide is listed in the thumbnails and not very hard to assemble. Have fun!…
