About this model

This is a Handy 3D Printed Vice created using Fusion 360 and printed with the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon.It took a few iterations with mainly the screw drive to get this correct, but all in all a great little project.It would have been ideal to run through the main frame thread with a tap as it was a bit tight but I didn't have one so I applied some of the grease that came with the X1 and this worked well after a few turns of the screw in and out.I made a slotted adapter which fastens onto the end of the thread with a 5mm Allen head set screw, this in turn slots into the slider carriage and is secured in place with a 5mm Allen head set screw allowing the carriage to be retracted easily, trying to get the thread started on the collet with a 5mm Allen bolt it snapped off, I just screwed the bolt in…
