OpenOcular began as a project in college which looked to add the benefit of digital microscopes in the classroom. This tool allows any smartphone to capture images directly from the microscope or telescope ocular lens. To setup, secure smartphone onto clamp and align camera within the slot. Then fasten adapter onto ocular. Loosen smartphone clamp to move camera along slot however, ensure you are holding phone before loosening clamp.
