About this model
This device replaces the two bolts/cable ties mechanism for fixing the ANET A8 x-belt to the extruder carriage. It allows very quick tension adjustments without the need for complicated tensioning mechanisms. This is a ground-up remake of the part designed by BoldBadger that I built in TinkerCAD. I loved the simplicity of BoldBadger's design, but the inwardly repositioned gripper mounts made it impossible for me to fit without buying a longer belt (I obviously cut mine too short). My take on the design is to move the gripper mounts outwards, back in line with the original bolts so you can use your existing belt.
