About this model
3D Printed RC Glider – 1160 mm Wingspan This is my 3D Printed RC Glider, modeled in Autodesk Fusion based on an existing aircraft drawing and adapted for lightweight FDM 3D printing. The glider has a 116 cm wingspan, a 75 cm fuselage length, and a total ready-to-fly weight of approximately 330 g. The complete model consists of 50 individual parts and is designed to be printed on a standard FDM 3D printer. The wings and fuselage are printed in LW-PLA to keep the aircraft as lightweight as possible. Regular PLA is used for parts where additional strength and durability are beneficial, while TPU is used for the flexible control surface hinges.
