About this model
Hello there! This is my first model on thingiverse. Here we have an Amethyst structure. The crystal structure itself was printed hollow (0% infill), in translucent transitioning PLA, on top of a 6MM solid base. This is to prevent visible gridding within the clear crystal structure. If you don't print the solid base and try to print 0% infill it will fail. If you use any other type of filament, traditional infill methods can be used. This model will also look great with glow filaments. To achieve the brightest and longest lasting glows, use at least 4 walls. This model might conspicuously fit right into a real gem or crystal collection with tight enough settings. Printed on H2C. Drawn on Storercad.
