This mod compliments the Z Braces and gives the printer an additional 37mm of clearance on the X Crossbeam. The manufacturer rated the Z axis to be 180mm but the poor clearance to cables and the extruder meant that only around 143mm was usable. Pushing past this height was not without the risk of failed prints (skipped steps), mechanical damage, electrical short circuit, and the chance of fire. Optional part to hang the scraper that comes with these printers, it can be printed for left or right sides, or it can be printed for both sides or none.
