This one is a little different! I saw some fantastic art in the above manual for developer Nihon Falcom's 1985 computer game Xanadu, and decided to try turning one of the illustrations into a sculpt. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I -believe- that the artist of the illustration is KOW Yokoyama. All rights of the illustration to him/Falcom, no copyright fouling intended! Just a bit of inspired fanart. No, I don't know why they called it Axebeak, but that's what it says in the manual. You should see what they called an Owlbear! I took some creative liberties with the details, and gave it a more robotic-forward design. I had a good time with it and challenged myself!
