About this model
Update: I recently designed a filament guide using two 608ZZ ball bearings, which worked great. However, the guide didn't fit when I used a wide filament spool with a very small core diameter. That’s why there is now an improved version. You learn something new every day, after all ;-) While this filament guide is not strictly necessary, I believe that a straight, vertical feed extends the lifespan of the ACE2Pro's internal components. I wanted to design a simple and sturdy "one-piece" filament guide. Since I dislike support structures and prefer parts optimized for 3D printing, I created this version. This design is perfectly matched to the trapezoidal black cover of the ACE 2 Pro. In addition, the component braces itself against the orange manual release lever to better absorb the tensil…
