About this model

Before the cape, the slicked-back hair and the theatrical accent, there was the Count. This version of Count Dracula goes back to the source, taking its inspiration from Bram Stoker’s original 1897 novel rather than the countless film and television interpretations that followed. Stoker’s Dracula is an elderly Transylvanian nobleman when Jonathan Harker first encounters him. He is described with a strong aquiline face, high domed forehead, massive eyebrows, pointed ears, unusually sharp white teeth and an extraordinary pallor. Most strikingly, he has a long white moustache, rather than the clean-shaven appearance popularised by later screen versions.
