About this model

This is a flight stand base with a rotating index wheel, marked from 1 to 10. It is socketed for a 1/8" (3.2mm) acrylic rod — I epoxy a small magnet to the top end of the rod, and steel flat-head nails into the bellies of my 1/144 scale models, so the models can be quickly and easily swapped out. I use the bases for playing Canvas Eagles, which uses ten altitude bands.
