About this model

A mounting strip for a Hygrometer and/or silica gel bags, for use in spool storage/vacuum bags to monitor relative humidity in and around your filament and help keep it dry. The gel bags are placed directly over the filament where they are most effective, rather than in the spool hub where they are effectively isolated from the filament. - Uses an inexpensive and widely available Hygrometer (42mm diameter mounting hole). - The part is thin and flexible, to allow it to bend around the spool as the storage bag vacuum is formed. - The format helps reduce bulges/bumps in the vacuum sealed bags, making them easier to fit back into their storage box. - Uses elastic bands/hair bands to attach the silica gel bags. - The width is 48mm so it should fit most 1kg spools. - Uses just 8g/2.58m of filame…
