About this model

Full build video — English, German & Turkish audio available: This project is an automatic rocking mechanism I designed for our BabyBjörn bouncer. The system uses an Arduino Nano and a Futaba S3003 servo motor. Two potentiometers allow the rocking speed and movement range to be adjusted independently. The mechanism is designed to be removable and does not require permanent modification of the bouncer. The project includes the 3D-printable enclosure, servo spool, bouncer mounting part, potentiometer knobs, Arduino code and wiring information. I originally tested the project with a smaller hobby servo, but it was not powerful enough. The final prototype uses a Futaba S3003 servo powered by an external 5V 2A supply.
