About this model

This is an attempted loose copy of the floppy disk drive enclosure for the Dragon 32 computer from the early 80s. Developed on Fusion 360 (happy to share the Fusion 360 files on request). The main case prints with a thin bottom and rear face for stability. They should be removed after printing (apart from the thicker flanges). I used superglue to join the sides, baseplate and bezel. The back plate is bolted on through two holes in the bottom as I might want to swap different designs depending on what disks/goteks etc I put in the enclosure. The 5.25 disk drive(s) is secured via heated threaded inserts and small machine screws with similar to secure the main case to the baseplate. There is no room for an internal power supply.
