About this model
Not really a remix, more nicking ideas from different places! I like scottyorr's dust shoe but cutting inner tube didn't work very well for me. Nellson's 3D printable bristles in TPU is genius but not the right size for my shoe. So I recreated the strip of bristles in OpenSCAD to let me have two strips of 130mm to get the required 260mm. I actually use four to get a double row of bristles. My 30mm ones work very well but the 50mm ones tend to get sucked in by my vac a little. The "skirt" option seems to help and some 50mm ones with 20mm skirts nearest vac are working better. I need to do more testing with different materials and may try a PLA re-enforcer around the section nearest the vac. Each part is only a few grams so not much material is wasted to experimentation.
