About this model
This is a vacuum adapter to remove the air from a ziploc bag to vacuum seal filament. Removing as much air as possible allows the desiccant to do a better job of reducing the moisture content in the filament and the surrounding bag. This adapter is for a Black & Decker Flex portable vacuum but should fit other vacuums with a 30mm hose size. This is especially useful for nylon and other flexible filaments which absorb moisture very quickly. After removing as much air as possible I put a rubber band around the bag and filament to help keep the bag from taking on more air.
