About this model

American export interceptor from 1939. It could outfly a Zero and mounted all four guns in the nose, providing a dense cone of fire. It lacked armor protection, however, and saw limited action with the exiled Dutch in Southeast Asia. This pack includes: -CW-21: The original model intended for China. Some 3 complete machines and 27 kits were shipped to China, but they were never used in battle. The prototype (N19431) was also from this batch. -CW-21B: An improved model with revised landing gear, delivered to the Netherlands East Indies. Some 24 machines were built and flown in combat. (Static display models provided)
