About this model
Very famous American multi-role fighter of WWII. This pack includes: -A-36/XP-51, the former is a strike aircraft with simple dive brakes and 6x 12.7mm machine guns, and the latter is a pre-production fighter with 4x 7.62mm and 4x 12.7mm machine guns. -P-51, mounting a rather unwieldy armament of 4x 20mm cannon. The cannon suffered constant overheating issues. -P-51A, with 4x 12.7mm machine guns replacing the unreliable 20mm cannon of the P-51. -P-51B/C, both powered by a British-designed 1,490-hp engine in place of the American 1,130-hp motor. The two planes are the same, but a "Spitfire-style" canopy is included here with the P-51C.
