About this model

A 3d printable marking gauge that uses a Veritas wheel gauge blade ~$6CAD. here is a link to the blade I used: The blade is ideally held by a countersink screw either #4-40 or M3 which will self tap into the beam. Longer is better for thread strength/longevity but I only made the hole 45mm deep so that will be the limit on fastener length. Mine is made in PETG and works great, These work best with a bit of wax on the wedge and top of the beam, but not on the bottom surfaces of the beam, that's where the friction helps in locking things down. Prints without supports, a STEP file is included if you need to tweak for your own use case.
