ABOUT THE MODELKeep the end of a stored or disconnected PTFE tube covered between filament changes. This single-piece cap slides over the tube's outside; there is no small plug inside the bore that could break off. The long, low pull tab gives fingers a place to remove it without tugging the tube, and it can include a small hole for a separately supplied tether. Remove the cap completely before reconnecting or feeding filament.CUSTOMIZEEnter the actual PTFE outside diameter, desired length of tube to cover, and Easy / Normal / Snug fit. The default targets a 4.0 mm tube and covers 10 mm. The normal modeled bore is 4.04 mm; the Easy option adds clearance and the Snug option gives a small interference that must be tested with your material and printer.
