About this model
These are series of spacers for the CR Touch in thicknesses of 1.0mm, 1.4mm, 1.6mm and 2.0mm. The CR Touch does not have the depth of probe length that a CR Touch does. This can cause very shallow Z-Offsets, so shallow it may not be able to use longer nozzles or interchange hotends. This was the case for my custom print head trolley for the Ender 5 Pro. By adding a spacer the Z-Offset is increased and a larger array of nozzle lengths may be used. The spacers come in a variety of thicknesses. It is important not to add too much space to the CR Touch. The retracted probe must not be as deep as or longer than the nozzle exit point. If it is the probe will impact the build plate during printing. The nozzle tip should be at least 0.8mm deeper than the probe tip but no deeper than 1.2mm.
