Here are the 3 bits you need (in tinkercad) to make an articulated "anything you want" within limits. load the Articulated Hinge Slicer change to a "hole" to "slice" your shape into segments. then drop in a "Articulated Hinge" inbetween each of those "slicer" you made with the Slicer component. align with the sliced gaps. Use the "punch" to clear the area for the hinge in the original model Merge them together! Bingo. Articulated anything you want! These scale well though printing at 50% causes some issues (weak links) I printed upto 400% no problem! (made a giant version of the articulated butterfly) I would not alter the relationship between X and Y too much or it might not print well (IE don't stretch in one axis without same in other axis) I print my articulated thingies 3x3x3 with 20%…
