The Collapsing Pirate Sword (Removable Blade) is a free printable 3D model from Thingiverse by J4bberwock. I really liked the sword made by 3DPRINTINGWORLD, but I wanted to have a steel blade, and bronze hilt. You can download the STL file from the original listing below and print it at home.
About this model
I really liked the sword made by 3DPRINTINGWORLD, but I wanted to have a steel blade, and bronze hilt. So I did a quick hack in Blender to make it similar to the removable blade lightsaber. The cap is meant to stay in place once screwed, but I can make an easy fix if some of you want it removable. Printed on Eryone Thinker (blade segments) and Creality Ender 3 (hilt and cap) using Eryone Silk Silver and Silk Copper filaments. 0.2mm layer height on the blade segments, printed one at a time, spiral vase mode, using a 0.4mm nozzle, set to 0.8mm Line Width in Cura 0.12mm 50% infill for the hilt and cap.
