Why and how:The last few months during the lockdown I’ve used my time to create a 3D model of the “Sea Ghost” ship from the D&D adventure book “Ghosts of Saltmarsh”. While I couldn’t play any D&D with my friends, I loved the idea of having the ship from the book in real life. So that after the lockdown, once me and my friends can play D&D again, we will have this awesome ship on the table. To challenge myself I left behind my trusted software and switched to learn Blender for the first time. After 40+ hours of modeling and learning I recreated the “Sea Ghost” in 3D based on the blueprints from the book.
