In the Shattered RPG, there is a place called the Glass Forest with razor sharp spikes of glass protruding from the ground itself (image gallery here: you can find concept art for Glass Forest Print the top and the base, put 5mm magnets in the base (or customize your own base here glue together and then you have magnetically attracted modular terrain!
