About this model
This object was entered in the MakeShaper Design Challenge (see all entries here). These sandal soles have been made specifically for 3d printing. They should be printed in flexible TPE (preferred) or TPU, with 3 shells and about 20% infill. Shells should be printed from the inside out. Infill can be adjusted to taste, more infill will make the soles less flexible. After printing the flipflop soles, the upper can be constructed with rope. Climbing rope works especially well. Adding a leather upper and outsole is also an option. The stl model is sized for EU 42.5, or a foot of 275mm long. To scale the flipflop soles to your feet, use the following settings: EU size --- mm --- % 35 --- 220 --- 0.80036 --- 225 --- 0.81836.5 --- 230 --- 0.83637 --- 235 --- 0.85538 --- 240 --- 0.87338.5 --- 245…
