About this model

~Rosette Planter~ Inspired by the architectural detail in the rosette window at Notre Dame Cathedral. This planter was modeled in SelfCAD for the MyMiniFactory / SelfCAD design competition. I had intended to keep the form of the planter as simple and clean as possible with just making a square container, while keeping the image of the rosette window as the main focal point. I had created this model in SelfCAD by using the "Image to 3D" tool for creating the sides of the planter, which were a photographed zoomed in of the rosette window at the Notre Dame Cathedral. I had adjusted the parameters and tolerance when I had imported the image to get the best result for the textured surface being the rosette window on the surface of the planter.
