Steve Anas describes his piece creation: "Inspired replica of a unique Minotaur head, on display in the museum of Heraklion in Crete, Greece. In Greek mythology, the Minotaur was a creature with the head of a bull on the body of a man. He dwelt at the center of the Cretan Labyrinth, which was an elaborate maze-like construction, built for King Minos of Crete and designed by the architect Daedalus. The Minotaur was eventually killed by the Athenian hero Theseus. The Minotauros' proper name Asterion, "the starry one," suggests he was associated with the constellation Taurus."This piece was cast in bronze with verdigis patina and horns are painted golden.
