A matched set of 12 true involute spur gears plus a sliding test stand, so you can build a working gear train on your desk and try a ratio before you design it into a project. In the box - 12 idler gears, module 1.5: 10, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 24, 30, 36, 40, 48, 60 teeth, 6 mm wide, 5 mm bore (runs freely on the axle) - slotted stand rail, 170 mm, with a millimetre scale - slide the axles to any centre distance - printable 5 mm axles with a head that rides in the T-slot (a 5 mm steel rod fits the gears too) Why this set - true involute tooth profile (20 deg pressure angle): constant ratio, smooth running - not a hand-drawn approximation - backlash for FDM is built into the tooth thickness, so the gears are meant to mesh straight off the bed - all 12 sizes share one module, so every gear mesh…
