Hi All This project is pretty cool, it's a ballistic knife, wich means the blade shoots out out the handle ! You will need a compression spring, 10mm in diameter 30mm when compressed and something like 70mm or a bit more when uncompressed. I used the springs in an old Well bipod (there are 2 in each "leg"). Use a bit of epoxy or hot glue to attach the spring to the bottom of the handle. You will also need a 25mm m3 screw. You can print the blade (use flexible filament if you want to shoot at people), or print the blade mold (m3 screws to assemble the 2 parts of the mold) and cast flexible resin inside to get a safe flexible blade.
