The Cyclone Dust Seperator is a free printable 3D model from Thingiverse by Captain_3d. This is a direct copy of LizzyDesign's Cyclone Dust Separator, except the large vortex filter has been broken into 3 smaller pieces so it would fit on a small bed sized 3D. You can download the STL file from the original listing below and print it at home.
About this model
This is a direct copy of LizzyDesign's Cyclone Dust Separator, except the large vortex filter has been broken into 3 smaller pieces so it would fit on a small bed sized 3D Printer like my Prusa Mendel Iteration 2. (Aprox 196mm wide X 196mm Depth X 90mm High). The total Print weight for me was about 650 grams with a 15% infill. To use this Cyclone Dust Collector you will need a Shop Vac, a spare vacuum hose, a bucket with lid, and 5 @ 6M Bolts with nuts and washers. Also you will need some type of glue to glue the Sections together. I used a CA glue and accelerator/kicker to glue the 3 sections together. It is a very simple build. Please watch my Video on how I made it.
