About this model
The house known as ‘Zum Lindenbaum’ was probably built in the late 16th or early 17th century on the corner of Rommelsgasse and Hof. The first and second floors were remodelled in the 19th century to include windows with straight stone surrounds. At the same time, the original entrance door on Rommelsgasse was bricked up and a shop with a wide window front was fitted out on the courtyard side. The model shows the building as it appeared around 1900. In 1961, Hof side was reconstructed in the 16th-century style, the 19th-century alterations were removed, and two cross-barred windows were fitted. The model was designed for a scale of 1:87 (H0).
