About this model

I made this slingshot model for 27 mm wide rubber bands. The notches are wide enough to accommodate two or three layers of Theraband Gold, so the model can be used with relatively powerful bands. The model is designed to be printed in two parts, which are then glued together. I recommend printing it with robust settings: around eight outer walls, at least 2 mm of solid top and bottom layers, and 50% infill. I used PETG because the finished print needs to be durable and should not soften in direct sunlight. For maximum strength, I recommend joining the two parts with epoxy. To make alignment easier and more precise, each half has two small alignment holes.
