About this model

Magic ahh fighter-interceptor from the anime "The Sky Crawlers." In the Nintendo game, it was developed from a prototype/pre-production fighter called the Skyly D. The plane appears to have an X-block turbocharged engine, most likely a 16-cylinder motor doing about 4,000 hp, driving a six-bladed high-speed propeller. The plane also has four (!) radiators, one in the nose, one underneath each wing, and one in the tail. It is armed with what appears to be 4x 20mm cannon in the wings and a single 30mm cannon through the prop shaft, the latter of which explains the awfully long nose. To further decrease the already-very horrible downward vision, the plane is a taildragger. There's also very limited room for fuel. What an eyesore.
