About this model

The Lawnmower was the original No.5 locomotive of the Talyllyn railway before Midlander came. it was built in 1952 from flat wagon No.19, a Ford Model T engine and transmission from Tom Rolt's Narrowboat. it worked a Fridays only winter passenger service until 1953 where it was taken out due to a failed gearbox and dismantled in 1954 however there is a proposal to rebuild it with a new engine and flat wagon no.19. Chassis sourced from SteelandSoot's 009 Flatbed wagon and the engine is sourced from PHPaul's 1:64 scale Waukesha industrial engine ( I was unable to find a Model T engine file). Use any couplers you like and any N scale rolling stock wheels for the chassis (once again I used Bachmann ones).
