About this model

Dutch light fighter built for service in Indonesia. Well-liked by Finnish pilots who flew them in battle against the Soviets. Retractable gear was a field conversion done on one aircraft, the factory opting for a more robust fixed gear. First series aircraft (D-XXI-1) can equip 2x 20mm cannon in addition to 2x 7.92mm machine guns. All later aircraft used 4x 7.92mm machine guns. Power is sourced from a British nine-cylinder engine developing 830 hp.
